Amasya Taş Han Restoration
Amasya Tashan is a two-storey urban inn commissioned in 1699 by Rahtuvan Hacı Mehmet Pasha and built by Architect Mehmet Kalfa; its courtyard layout, inscribed entrance portal, and street-facing shops reflect the continuity of Ottoman commercial architecture.
A typical example of Ottoman urban inns, the han today serves as accommodation and a restaurant.
